Horizontal black line in photos app after updating 18.1

Using iphone 13.. After updating to 18.1, a thin black horizontal line appears in photos app when i open an image. It disappears but the line keeps on appearing inconsistently. This happens only in photos app alone. When exited everything works fine. This could not be captured in screenshot also.

Yes, after updating my iPhone 14 to iOS 18.1, I’ve noticed a recurring issue where a thin black horizontal line intermittently appears across images in the Photos app. The line is temporary, disappearing shortly after, but reappears inconsistently each time I view images. This behavior is isolated to the Photos app, as the line does not appear in other apps or system screens and cannot be captured in screenshots. This suggests it may be a display rendering issue specific to the Photos app on iOS 18.1.

Yes!! I just bought this iphone off of EBay (IPhone 14) and thought it was because it was a refurbished product and was ready to send it back or something. It’s not a big deal but still bothers me. 😩 Hopefully it gets fixed soon! (It’s the line that looks like a pencil going through the words whole milk and continues clear across the screen.) it always disappears but comes back at the same place.

edit: I’m not sure how to turn the photo to see it better. 😭
