I am not sure I understand the question. If you mean the icons on your Desktop, those represent the files that exist in your Desktop folder, so you can't have different icons, as that would be like having two different folders, say "Desktop 1" and "Desktop 2" inside your home folder.
But if you want, say, to have the Desktop icons appearing in Desktop 1, but not appearing in Desktop 2, then that is possible. Just assign Finder to run in Desktop 1. The Desktop icons are there because that's what the Finder does. If the Finder is not running, or in not running the active Desktop, then there are no icons.
