Apple alarm not playing the song selected from Apple Music

its either I select a new song to use and it puts it straight to no alarm tune set or I choose one that I have already had on the alarm tunes and it plays the original wake up tone, I have done everything people have said to do and nothing is working, Can anyone please help me?
