Sonoma 14.7: Len P27u-10 resolution and display arrangement not remembered

Since I updated to Sonoma 14.7, the resolution and arrangement of my external monitor (Lenovo ThinkVision P27u-10) is not retained after I reconnect my 13" M2 MacBook Pro. This happens whether I simply undock, log out of my account, or shut down completely before disconnecting and reconnecting.

When I restart the MacBook after reconnecting, the Displays section of System Settings shows only resolutions of up to 1920 x 1080. My preferred resolution of 3008 x 1692 appears only if I wait a while and then disconnect and reconnect.

I've been using the monitor without problems for several years with previous versions of MacOS. Connection is via USB-C.

I've started using the SwitchResX utility to restore my former display arrangement, but it doesn't (and can't) work correctly until the 3008 x 1692 display resolution is available in the system.

Reporting here in hopes that someone else is experiencing the same problem.
