What causes Color distortion on MacBook screens

My MacBook’s coloured screen is really vivid. I’ve tried resetting nvram, pram and also updated the iOS. The black and white colours are ok. Only when I put a video on or open photos, the distortion in colours show. There are no blobs when the screen is white or black. I can scroll on Google without any apparent issues on the screen. I’ve also noticed a hologram like thing from other windows when I full screen the videos. This is a work laptop so I’m really worried if I’ve messed the hardware somehow. Any idea what could it be? Pictures show white screen is ok but any video or photo shows colour distortion and images in the background

Me too, sfr2023… check to see if the following have been turned on ( by accident or on purpose)

*Accessibility*

* Night Shift*

you can check on that by going to the Apple ( top left of your screen, then “system preferences”

maybe try system prefs… display… display/monitor calibration… see if any of that fixes anything, if it does, great, hooray !! Problem solved, give yourself a gold, silver or blue star, or a treat of some kind… if not, call Apple support in your country vis their 1-800 number, email or chat feature… they are usually friendlY, kind, knowledgeable and helpful… willing to go the extra mile… then, call your work and the computer/IT department there and explain your situation , be kind, be polite, ( just “please “ and “thanks” go a ways) help them, and they’ll help you out… if they do, acknowledge them , get ‘em a treat if you can
