iPod Touch for entertainment separation from iPhone
I am debating purchasing an iPod Touch, I am doing so because I want to keep my entertainment away from my iPhone

You haven't actually asked a question, so it's a bit difficult to know what you expect anyone here to tell you.
However, that said, Apple no longer make the iPod Touch, so you would have to buy a second hand one (or as a remote possibility, an old stock unused one). Take into account that an iPod Touch may be limited in its features because it's an old device. Take special note of this if your entertainment (whatever that might be) is via Apple Music or depends upon online services.
Possible alternatives to an iPod Touch include the iPad, iPad mini, or a non-Apple product. As far as the Apple products go, can you visit an Apple store and talk to the staff there about your requirements?
