FaceTime issues on iPad 10 since update to iOS 18.0.1

I have been doing FaceTime video calls ever since I bought my iPad 10 at the beginning of this year. But since I upgraded to iOS 18.0.1 I have issues. After 2 or 3 minutes the call starts to drop and it looks like is a connection problem. I checked my WiFi and it was fine but the problem was still there. I reset my internet connection and the problem persisted. Then I restarted my iPad and yet again the problem persisted. I thought once again it was my internet connection so I tried on a different day, call the internet provider and all was working fine except for my FaceTime calls. So I tried from my iPhone and no issues. Tried from my old laptop and no issues. Just my iPad was having trouble. Is there a way to fix it? Is anyone going through the same thing.
