Installing 3rd party Plug In's for Final Cut Pro

That won't work. Assuming Motion Templates and Transitions are correctly localized you still need a folder in Transitions to designate the category. It can be either an existing FCP category or one you make.

Here there are three custom categories and the transitions are inside them. The transitions are in folders because them have custom media.

The transition should not be localized.,nor the category. Only the first two folders, Motion Templates and Transitions should localized.

The Motion Templates folder has to be localized and the Transitions folder has to be localized. The plugins have to be in a category folder inside Transitions. Post a screenshot of the Folder in column view showing what you’ve done.

Please follow Tom’s advice and show us the folder hierarchy in column view.

As Tom suggested, it seems that you may be missing a folder level between Transitions and the actual transitions - that is the “category” under which they appear in the transitions browser in FCP.

I think it will be resolved quickly if you follow Tom and Luis's instructions and save the plugin in the correct hierarchy. First, please publish the hierarchy with a screenshot.

Make sure you have not removed the .motr extension from the transition.
