using Mail for example, it's not the icons that are too small , it is the options in the menu

This conversation has been going on a while. My device is very new and uses Sonoma 14.4 (I think) but I have forgotten where to look for confirmation. I find myself using my iPad instead of my sparkly new iMac because it is so hard to see what I can do. In Mail App I have reset my typing size to something visible, but it's all the itty bitty options along the top that I can't select .I have tried accessibility settings but that did bot help.
