Why do my Math Notes stop updating dynamically on my iPhone?

I created a Math Note for work that only included the basic formulas. Everything worked great considering it was my first venture into Math Notes.

After I was satisfied with everything, I attempted to “pretty it up” by adding headers for the different sections. Namely, “Input”, “Calculations” and “Results”. This also worked well especially after I discovered that you can collapse headers.

I ran into problems during subsequent cleanup runs that caused the equations and result to become static. They would no longer update dynamically as you changed the inputs. 😔

I’m assuming this is a bug of sorts but after several formula rewrites, I found a quick solution for existing (once working) formulas. Within the Math Note, you can Select All, Cut and then Paste it back in. It maintains all of the formatting (Title, Headings, etc) that initially broke it but the new Pasted stuff will work dynamically again! 🪄
