StandBy Home controls not working when the phone is locked

Hey 👋 I'd like to reopen a question previously asked here: Standby mode requires passcode - Apple Community

In short, if I add some HomeKit controls to the StandBy (like lights or plug switches), these immediately ask me to unlock the phone when attempting to use the controls.

There's a setting in Face ID to allow Home accessories access even without unlocking the phone. This is respected in the Control Centre where the same HomeKit controls work just fine, even in the locked phone state, but it's not the case with the same controls on the StandBy screen.

Having the phone in a trending, nicely designed, 3D-printed stand, I'd like to just keep it around so that anybody around in the room could use the controls to toggle these accessory switches. I think the StandBy widget for HomeKit stuff should respect the setting the same way the Control Centre toggles do.

Thanks in advance!
