I work for a Financial Firm as IT Admin I would like to disable iMessage and FaceTime remotely for the users in the company.

As an IT Administrator for a financial firm, I'm looking to remotely disable iMessage and FaceTime for users enrolled in MDM via Intune. I also have an account with Apple Business Manager and am wondering if there's a feature that allows me to disable these services for the users.

You can block both if they are supervised devices.

If they're enrolled in MDM, then simply use MDM to block iMessage... It doesn't require wiping. There may be an impact if they are iMessaging people, but that cannot be avoided. There should be a key similar to the one attached here:

(Note that Apple Business Manager is NOT an MDM. An MDM is provided by additional purchase from Apple, Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle, Microsoft, or one of the many other vendors out there).
