Nothing. I just connected my external drive to my Apple Time Machine and no more issues.
It’s an old problem that several people have posted about. The g-drive is not ejected at all yet it repeats that same alert over and over again until you disconnect the drive. You can’t even get a chance to eject properly.
You’re going to have to provide a more thorough description of the problem if you want an answer other than, you need to properly eject the drive before disconnecting it…
What did the manufacturer of the drive say when you contacted them?
