Siri not responding on iPhone 16 Pro Max

Same thing on my iPhone 13. I ask Siri a question, and I only get written responces but no audio. This is still and ongoing issue on iOS 18.4.1, so it hasn’t been fixed. I’m so annoyed with Siri, it has been pretty bad and unreliable lately

Yes mate I’ve had every iPhone since the 3GS last iPhone I had before the 16 promax was a 14 promax and it ran brilliantly really smooth and fast now they’re 16 pro Max the battery drains rapidly. It gets really hot. The Siri function does not work it also randomly picks songs on my Apple HomePod and plays them. It talks to my watch about things I have no idea of.

I have 2 phones 1 iPhone for business (since 1st generation) my other phones have been androids, personal use Iam Seriously thinking of going to Samsung for both as this new 16Pro blah blah blah top of the line is costing me business because of how much I need to be able to dictate. Siri no longer works and this phone is 2 1/2 months old.

There seems to always be an issue with Siri in iphone 16 pro max. Now it is connected to Apple AI and ask for your ‘precise location’! Why would using siri have anything to do with Apple trying to find my location. Have tried all tips in the community and still siri doesn’t work. After getting OS18.5 works but only responds in typing. What happened to the voice?

Yes, this is a really big issue, because it will not work with the apps in my car so that it will be hands-free. You have to repeat the question or answer several times and it still does not work or respond.

I’m having the exact same problem on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. Hopefully they’ll get this bug fixed.

Same thing is happening to me. Driving me nuts. I didn’t realize how much I use Siri!

I just powered off and on before I read this and it’s still not working for me.

I just saw that I have an update available, so I’m doing that now. Hopefully it works. 🙄

Same issue on iPhone 16 pro. Also voice to text stalls. Not pumped about spending so much money on a new phone that doesn't work as well as my iPhone 12 lol

Yes, I just found out. Siri is not working on my iPhone 16 Pro Max either!

I have the same issue.

i suspect it’s got something to do with iOS18. Try restarting your phone, I have done that 15 times as of today, lol

its so bad and a basic bug. I hope they fix it
