Stickers not working on iPhone 16 Pro

Same. I can go through the motions of long-pressing a photo and “add sticker”. I can also go to stickers and click the “+” to add a sticker but the stickers just sort of disappear after selecting them and can never be recalled. I’ve been having to pull out my iPhone SE to use stickers and the swap back over to my 16 pro… I use that feature all the time hope it’s fixed soon.

Seems like I’m not the only one but yeah my stickers haven’t been saving it was one of my favorite features on my iPhone 13 Pro but this is disappointing especially since one of the updates for this phone was gonna allow us to actually put the stickers in the messages not just paste on top so I would love if this gets fixed soon

So the fix that worked for me after contacting Apple support was to “erase all content and settings”. Then, when setting up the phone, install from a previous backup. We tried a number of steps, but this was what finally resolved the issue for me. It only came about after several attempts without success that we decided to just factory reset and use a previous backup to pull back in all my customizations and settings from my initial setup of the phone. It appears that when activating and transferring from a previous phone to the iPhone 16, during the process, the stickers function “breaks”. So, if you want to give it a try, erase all content and settings and start fresh using a recent iCloud backup for your new phone.

Same. just did the most recent ios18 update that was offered this morning and it still is not working. when i try to make a sticker in either messages or from my camera roll directly, the sticker either deletes immediately or just gets stuck to my screen for a few seconds and freezes my

phone before it disappears

I was a little annoyed to have to erase all content as well but very happy when it worked and all the stickers came back from my previous phone along with all the settings. I hope more people will read this post and follow those directions.

Yes, erase all content and settings. It’s painful, I know. But now I have stickers and my favorite keyboard shortcuts are back!! Totally worth the time to fix the problem. Would have been nice if Apple had fixed the bug in the update, but since the tech I was texting with in support said that they have had no reports of this issue, I suppose I should be grateful to just have this working again and not expect so much.

this update didn't solve the sticker problems for me either. Even when I add the same image twice, the whole image stays between the stickers, but I don't need to use it and it gets burned on my screen. whatever i do i see through the sticker

Okay, so "Reset All Settings" didn't resolve the issue for me, either. My chat was escalated to someone on the phone, but she couldn't help me by sharing the screen. I just got a case number. According to the person who I spoke with, Apple is aware of this issue on iPhone 16 and 16 Pro. It is annoying that Apple doesn't share the issue with the owners of iPhone 16 and 16 Pro. I hope the future iOS update evetually resolve this issue.

Same!!! Stickers don’t work! Also, my phone won’t connect to my car properly. Apple CarPlay doesn’t work. Worked fine with my iPhone 12 but ever since I got the 16, nothing but problems. I’m ready to turn it in

Every single one of us has to submit a ticket with Apple. They don’t believe me when I say “everyone has this issue, just look on Google”. Each of us has to call and complain. Please everyone! Force their hand

Makes me wonder why it doesn’t work also in my old iPhone 15 promax that my daughter is using, if the bug is only with the iPhone 16 promax.

I hope Apple can make an update to fix this. I just updated to iOS 18.1.1. Same problem - can’t create stickers. It disappears immediately.

Full reset fixed it for me.

Finally, got the create stickers to work! But it’s a lot of work, I had to reset the phone! Had to do it the whole day…. An apple fix would have been simpler… Remember to back up first! 

Everyone with iPhone 16 is having the same problem. It’s been reported to Apple and they’ve done NOTHING! Also, not sure if anyone else is having the same problem, but my phone freezes all the time and I have to do a hard reset at least once a day. I wish I never got this phone.
