Apple Music wont play 7.1.4 with my audio interface that has 64 I/O

I am trying to get Apple music to play though my Focusrite Red Line 16. Apple music defaults to two channel. I have my speakers setup in Audio Midi as 7.1.4 and they test fine. I can also play ADM files in Reaper and Pro Tools. I was hoping Sequoia would fix this. Interestingly, if I play apple music on my MacBook and use a Dante virtual sound card set to 16 I/O and send it to my Focusrite that works. Any one have thoughts on this or tips?
