Found the solution !!! Go to ‘settings’ then ‘search’ then ‘show related content’ turn ‘on’ and hey Bingo !!

That's not true for me. A friend texted me a picture of her and her dog, and it identifies Boston Terrier. Another with her cat says Cat.
Visual Look Up still works for me with iOS 18.

FIXED!!!
I restarted my phone and it started working. What I did realize it only works if it’s a picture I took. If someone sends me a photo they took, it will not work.
Thank you it fixed the issue for me
Followed instructions, restarted, nothing changed. Still no identifier icon. ios 18 update needs some major attention!!
