The apple tv remote keeps coming up on my lock screen and I don't really use my phone to control my apple tv. Is there any way to get rid of it automatically popping up? I even tried to forget device via my Apple TV but still did not work.

Only problem with this fix is... I don't have the TV app on my iPhone lol... Apple 🤦♂️
One small note for this thread: If I turn on low power mode on my iPhone, this goes away. Turn low power mode off, immediately comes back. But... 🤷♂️

Most of the people are here because they use the remote and still want to use the remote so disabling anything isn’t an option.

Lol I wish that worked. Tried that weeks ago to no avail, even after restarting the phone.
I went to settings on Apple TV. Under devices I removed my iPhone. That worked
Same I would like to get asap help on this because my screen stays on in my pocket cause of that then it kills my battery

Where are there notifications for Apple TV? It is not in the Notifications menu
Here is the solution:
Navigate to Settings, then...
General > Airplay & Continuity > Automatically AirPlay > Never
Please tell me you found a fix for this cause I have to keep resetting my phone or restarting my phone force restart my phone for it to go away and then just comes back!
That did nothing for me. It keeps doing it.
Yes, I have. I went to the Apple TV and I went to airplay and I removed Living Room from my AirPlay thing and then I turned off AirPlay on Apple TV.
I think I finally got it figured out. Settings > Apps > Remote > Siri > turn off everything
