iPhone X, iOS 16
Does anyone know a good way to purchase an iPhone 16 from outside the US then get shipped to a US address? I have contacted apple multiple times and they've been unable order a physical sim iPhone 16 from Apple outside the US and have it come to a US location.

Many people makes business and we have to travel sometimes for more of a month outside of US.
Roaming doesn’t work good! I have many issues about it. And it’s really important that I can receive all my calls, messages and email. With SIM cards I could work great because I bought other SIM cards from those countries that I visited. But since I changed to eSIM card. Omg! I couldn’t get enough signal to receive calls. And the internet was so bad and local signal also is bad.
I can’t move of carrier because I bought my phone with 24 months contract. I don’t like Tmobile and others companies are the same.
You'd have to ask a friend in another country to purchase it and send it to you. Apple won't do it at all. But if you live in the US, be advised the phone if procured from outside the US will have NO WARRANTY in the US. NONE.

As long as you don't buy one in the US, you'll be able to get one with a Physical Sim and eSim, with the exception of China, Hong Kong and Macau, where they come with dual Physical Sim. So don't buy one in the US if you need an iPhone with a Sim card slot.
can i get one in mexico??
Apple doesn't sell those in the USA. If you're outside it, buy one normally.

1 year manufacturer warranty is worldwide
i spoke with several Apple representatives and if the phone is bought in N.A. And you have AppleCare they said it is covered.
bottomline its hard to believe what an individual says so read the warranty guide when you buy the phone
Quoting directly from Apple's legal warranty terms for the iPhone:
IMPORTANT RESTRICTION FOR iPHONE, iPAD, APPLE TV, HOMEPOD, AND APPLE VISION PRO SERVICE.
Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, HomePod, and Apple Vision Pro to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device.
(emphasis mine).
So no, the warranty on the iPhone is NOT worldwide, and has been said, it has been reported numerous times that Apple or an Apple service center has denied coverage for an iPhone purchased in another country.
As lobsterghost said, if you wish to take the risk, that's your decision.
Yes.

And virtually every day of the week, we see people come here all upset because they were denied warranty coverage on an iPhone purchased in a different country. Apple has NEVER suggested iPhone warranty is worldwide. Apple DOES say Apple may limit warranty coverage to the country of purchase. And that is written into Apple's legal document covering iPhone warranty.
Do as you wish with your money. Just don't come here complaining if you purchase an iPhone in a country you don't live and where you do live, you are denied warranty support.
That’s so rare! Long time ago I bought a iPhone 4 in USA and my battery didn’t work when I was in Peru (latinoamerica) and I when to apple store there. Apple change the battery free without any cost but it took one month because apple peru had to bring the other battery from USA.
Also, when I was in Spain my iPhone 5s started to turned off and I when to apple store in Vigo (Spain) they changed my phone without any cost.
I never pay for Apple care, they knew the some phone didn’t good well from fabric so I was in my right. Apple looked for the serial number of the phones.
That’s the reason why I like to buy apple products. I don’t know if apple policies changed now but my old experience was so good! I use iPhone since the first iPhone and before I used ipod mini and classic! Ipod with the wheels was so fantastic but it needed radio.
I want iPhone 16 pro Max with the SIM card version

You've been VERY VERY Lucky. For simple things like battery replacement or screen replacement, they can be handled just about anywhere in the world at any Apple Store. But should a phone need to be replaced under warranty, is completely different. Apple maintains a policy of replacing iPhone's with the exact same model, color, memory, etc., And if a phone is purchased for example in the US, when the user lives in say, Australia, Apple won't honor the warranty for a replacement phone in Australia, because they won't have a USA model available there.
You suggest this is rare. It is far from rare, but again, you've been fortunate. We see people come here all the time who are upset because they were denied a warranty replacement in their country, for a phone purchased in a different country. For this reason, we members, who have been here for years, and see people being denied warranty, we ALWAYS recommend buying your iPhone, in the country you live and will use it.

OK. You can't buy one in the US, but you can in most other countries in the world.
