Numbers - the sheet bounces around moves left to right up and down like it's had too much sugar

Numbers - it's been like this forever and there have been many questions asked about it, and people just aren't understanding the issue. Here's the issue:

The Numbers window is open, there's a perfect spreadsheet there. It moves on its own as if one were moving the vertical/horizontal scroll bars. It won't stay still inside the open app.

To be clear - this isn't anything to do with freezing rows/columns. It's about a stationary window with an open spreadsheet, but the spreadsheet won't stay still, the whole thing moves around inside the window. It's absolutely maddening.

I've never had another app do this, move up down left right while data is being entered.

I would like a fix from Apple/Numbers team, or at least an acknowledgment of the issue.

This is a user-to-user forum. You can give feedback via Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback in your menu.

My guess is that the behavior you see has something to do with the sensitivity of your pointing device and its settings.

On the built-in trackpad of a MBP the canvas will shift, and thus make the objects on it appear to shift, with a two-finger gesture. That's by design.
