The control strip/touch bar on my MacBook Pro isn't showing. I can still use it but I have to blindly search for the button I want to press, which is annoying for controlling volume and brightness. I checked my settings and it says the control strip display was on, does anybody in the community have an idea for this issue?

You do not say what exact MacBook Pro...
On an Intel Machine you can—
Try resetting the System Management Controller Reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support
Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NVRAM Reset)
On M-series machine—
The best you can do if you have an issue— equivalent Shut down, close the lid 30 secs+ , reboot as normal.
If no resolve try SafeBoot to sort anomalies Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
if no resolve you can suspect you have a hardware issue
In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment
Make an appointment for a "hardware issue"
