Does the PC version of Apple Music have a way to play using DirectSound?

Reposting this question as the previous poster didn't get a response and this is still an issue.

I'm currently using the Apple Music app on Windows 11 after switching from iTunes and I like it so far since it has all the features I need and seems to be even smoother, but when switching my primary sound output the app still plays music from the previously selected output. I had this issue on iTunes and I fixed it by changing the settings to play through DirectSound rather than Windows Audio Session which I suspect is what the app is currently doing. Is there any way to change this or do I just have to refresh the app when changing outputs?
