Apple Approval Notice text message scam

I received this same text today from "l************84@outlook.com" - I deleted it soon after.

Apple Approval Notice

We have noticed that your Apple iCloud id was recently used at "APPLE STORE - CA" for $143.95, paid by Apple Pay Pre Authorization. Also some suspicious sign in request and apple pay activation request detected. That looks like suspicious to us. In order to maintain the security and privacy of your account we have placed those request on hold. Your Photos, Data, Bank Information and Cards are at risk. If NOT you? talk to an Apple Representative. Failing may lead to auto debit and charge will not be reversed. Call +1 8**********59 immediately to cancel this charge.

I literally got same amount and text only thing different is the phone number it makes me wonder if the scammers put their efforts in to something proactive the world would be a better place

I received a text message that I was suspiciously charged $143.95 at an Apple Store. The number to call back is 1**************9. I’m guessing this is a scam

Yes me too. It is exactly that.

Same today. Reported it to apple and blocked the number.

My mom recieved the same exact text word for word. She always calls me before she does anything. Sad.

I just received the same. But now they are including apples, actual billing support website in the text so I was to linger more people to reply or to call.

These scammers are still doing this. I got the text today

The funniest thing about the text I received was it came from a gmail address🤣🤣🤣. Seriously!
