Can I set a default articulation in Studio Strings?
I like using Double Bass with pizzicato articulation for my bass lines. However, I can't find a way to always make new notes I paint in the piano roll be pizzicato; they always seem to default to sustain. This makes it hard to work with painting notes while looping a section in the piano roll, because new notes don't sound right. I have to stop the play, set the articulation to pizzicato, then start the loop again. Even if I can change the articulation, it gets tedious having to deal with a long articulation menu.
¿Is there a way to tell Logic Pro that whenever I add a Studio Strings note, I want to add it as pizzicato, or at least as the same articulation for the previous note?
As a workaround, I tried setting a key command assignment for Set Articulation 28 (which is what page 618 of the Logic Pro instrument manual says is the articulation ID for pizzicato). But if I have a note selected in the piano roll and press that key command assignment, nothing changes; the note is still set to sustain.
