Podcast I do not subscribe to shows up in now playing

I listened to one episode of a podcast. Now new episodes continue to show up in the now playing . I did not subscribe to the podcast . How can I prevent this ?

Unwanted podcasts showing up in Listen Now This started a couple of weeks ago. In the Listen Now section of the podcast app, under the Up Next header, I'm getting episodes for podcasts I'm not subscribed to nor have ever been subscribed to. I may have listened to one or two episodes from the podcasts, but I never subscribed, and I never relistened to the episodes. Usually, episodes I download are removed after I've listened to them. But now I'm bombarded with episodes for every single podcast I've ever listened to. Which is really annoying. How can I get the podcast app to stop doing this?

How do I get unplayed episodes to show up in Up Next section of Apple Podcasts? Unplayed episodes are no longer populating in my Up Next section within Apple Podcasts for shows I’m subscribed to. It seems to only work if I’m listening newest to oldest (who even does that?). Has anyone else experienced this and know how to resolve. Note, I’ve tried unsubscribing and resubscribing but that hasn’t worked either

Podcast App need to be fixed. Hi. It seams that there is now no control of the podcasts I want to listen. Up next list includes episodes I do not want to listen, and I can’t delete them. I am all for it that there is some sort of feature that suggests new channels and episodes. I do understand this but I do think that the user, me, should be able to control what he likes to listen. If this means that the listener does not browse new channels as often as Apple would like, there could be a separate section that suggests new channels and episodes that is based on your listening habits and also could show all the new and popular channels. Podcast App need to be fixed.
