Unable to manage distribution list in contacts on iCloud I am a little surprised by the number of problems in using the contacts app. I am not able to delete contacts from a distribution list. The "Edit Distribution List" menu item is grayed out. Hitting delete or right-clicking the contact does not work. It seems there have been issues doing this when the contacts are stored in iCloud for some time now. Is there a reasonable workaround?

Why does apple support give any information on creating or editing "close contacts" Apple is a wonderful platform but finding help topics on the various tools is poor to non existent. On my MacBook I have a list of my "Contacts" (containing phone email and other contact info. On the left is a panel allowing me to choose: All Contacts, All iCloud & Close Contacts. Nowhere in help or apple support does it tell me how to create or edit the "Close Contact" designated entries. Why does Apple not help me?

iCloud Contacts showing up twice in the contacts app I see this question showing up several times in the forums but with no answer - I'm hoping that there could be a solution after all this time. Below is a snapshot of how the sidebar in Contacts app looks like (macOS Monterey 12.1/M1 MacBook Air) Please Note: These are not duplicates - The account appears only once in iCloud.com Contacts app. This problem is ONLY on the Mac app. Searching for Duplicates under the Card menu in the Mac app does NOT work - If I delete any contact, it is removed from the account.

“Gear icon” (in Contacts)? This does not exist. “Save contacts as .csv”? That does not exist.
