What to do when developer verification issue arises during SPSS 26 installation on MacBook?

I purchased SPSS 26 for my macbook (sonoma 14.5). I double click where I downloaded in Finder and it opens a pop up to install a helper. I type in my password and another pop up appears saying "“(null)” is an app downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?". I click open and another pop up appears saying, “libjvm.dylib” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified." I have the options to open in finder or cancel. Clicking either one opens up the former pop up over and over again. Who can help with this?
