Need a Solution - if possible. Multiple MACs, Single Monitor, Single Keys and Pointers

Hi,

I have the following hardware which I am trying to combine into 1 neat solution and need some help with please.

1 x 2024 M3 MacBook Air

1 x 2024 M3 Pro MacBook Pro

1 x Apple Studio Display

1 x Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID

1 x Apple Magic Trackpad

1 x Apple Magic Mouse

I wish to be able to use both MacBooks in clamshell mode and just switch between one and the other to view them on the Studio Display, and also to control them via the one set of keys/pointers etc.

I also want the TouchID fingerprint reader on the keyboard to be able to work for both MBs.

I have read about Universal Control, and have seen some different KVMs etc., but I am just not sure of a complete solution and if it will meet my full requirements.

I also don't want any visual compromises, so I want the Studio Display to run at its full capabilities with both MBs.
