Hey everyone, facing the same issue even tho air m2 has that powerful chip haven’t thought it will get this hot near the front cam, might be possible if this can be fixed with the next s/w update but gotta say apple disappointed everyone with this hot rod


Forgot to mention battery drains too fast

So, you’ve restored your iPad as a new device and the problem still persists!!!

This might be absurd, but I think it’s possible that there’s an issue with your Apple ID causing overheating, Since you’ve menctioned that you could replicate the issue with multiple iPad models.

Now, it’s not normal for an iPad to overheat while using the notes app, perhaps you folks need to take it to an Apple Store or send it for replacement as the iPads can’t be repaired

I had a very similar experience. I've used my first-generation iPad Pro since 2018 and never encountered any heating issues. However, I recently bought a new iPad Air, and from day one, it became unbearably hot while using the Apple Notes app. It got so bad that I had to stop working and switch back to my older iPad.

As you mentioned, when purchasing a new model, we expect a higher standard of quality. Unfortunately, Apple has really disappointed me this time!

Additionally, I faced the same issue with battery discharging so fast!

Unfortunately, Apple has really disappointed me this time!
