Can the Apple Homekit control more than 2 functions?

i bought a sensibo air device that controls my ac. When i installed it into homekit it showed up as “thermostat”, and the only controls available are temperature and cooling type, when i need to control fan speed, vertical horizontal swing etc. is it just that apple havent upgraded this ir paid attention to it?Appendix: or is there something in the market that does all those things?

It's possible that there are only certain functions of your device that are supported in HomeKit. For example, I have a HomeKit compatible camera. The manufacturer of the camera provides an app that allows me to rotate and pan the camera. However, HomeKit only allows me to view what it sees through the camera lens, but not all the other functionality.
