How do I make Apple Music links open in the Apple Music app instead of the internet browser? Windows 11

Hello, I am using the Apple Music app (downloaded from Microsoft store and fully up to date as of today 16/4/2024) and I am listening to music and sharing songs with my friend over discord. When I send a link to him or if he sends an Apple Music link to me, when clicked, the link opens Apple Music in the browser and then I have to click the button at the bottom left of the browser window to "Open in Music". This is annoying and unnecessary extra clicks. Why doesn't the link just open straight in the Apple Music App? Is this a Windows problem (because it works fine on my Mac) or is it an Apple Music configuration issue (I have checked the settings and there is nothing in there so it would have to be back end).

To summarise: When I receive an Apple Music link to a song, album etc, I want the link to open in the Apple Music app, NOT the internet browser.

Thanks in advance for your help.
