How can I locate a QuickTime file after closing it?

I was exporting a video as a smaller on quicktime file and accidentally closed the file and now i cannot find it on my device is there a way to recover it?

When doing an Export from QuickTime Player, the first thing that happens is setting the Save location and filename (Save As dialog box). The Save location defaults to the last used Save location for this app on that device. So, pretend to export a new different QT file, and it will show you where that defaults to save. You can Cancel before the actual exporting starts.

If not on your local disk, then possibly on your personal iCloud Drive, in a special QuickTime folder?
