iCloud Notes will not save. Windows 11 device New problem

Your solution fixed my problem perfectly! Thank you very much. I have one main "To Do" note that I'm updating constantly while at the office. Not being able to edit that not on my desktop was really frustrating. But, I just copied it into a new note, deleted the old note, and now life is back to normal. Thanks again!

I'm having the same issue on Windows 11 with both Microsoft Edge & Firefox browsers. So I suspect this is an Apple bug rather than a Windows issue. This is a problem for me as I am constantly updating shared notes. I suspect Apple aren't that interested in supporting Windows so this could take a long time to be resolved.

I don't want to try the workarounds suggested here (copying the note contents, deleting the note, creating a new one and pasting in the old content) as that means the note has to be reshared and will break things if anyone else is editing it at the same time.

Are there any good third party products that allow shared notes on iphone/windows/web?

Same bug for months. I can only edit once, and after that it will be « saving » forever. I am using only 1 Note, a big checklist. I am wondering if it could be because I am using different languages between devices. Else, I tried many things, unsuccesfully…

I've been having the same (or very similar) issue for a couple weeks, and I think this is intentional throttling by the backend system.

Each day I am able to get a single small edit to save; it's the first thing I do and is usually just changing a date but I tested and was able to get a single word to save. After that nothing saves. I think Apple's intent is to enforce Notes usage from the app, and have the web only for convenience. Since I've used the web version almost exclusively for months, I think I'm being throttled.

Copying my old note and pasting it into a new note worked for me. It was an old ongoing list that I've been editing for a long time. The new, freshly pasted list is now working for me, even though it's just as long as the old one. I tried it again with another list and that one seems to be working too ...so far.

I wonder if it's simply a problem of too much cached data?

The same thing just started happening for us as well, we run our landscaping business off the notes application and all the forman rely on me keeping the daily agenda up to date, and now that I can't seem to update it and save it, I'm thinking of switching everyone over to google.

Same issue here. I have two notes that randomly won't save and I lose whatever updates I've created. It seems to be when I'm using notes via chrome on Windows. I've been using both notes since the start of the year and it's just recently started happening.

I have no idea what is happening with Apple at the moment but along with issues on my apple watch ultra , nothing feels very solid. What happened to "It just works"?

Same problem. Win10 Pro, latest Google Chrome. No antivirus. Free icloud strorage available. On Iphone and MacBook Notes is working fine.
