iPod not showing up as a device in Apple music on WIN 11 computer

After Apple music installed by default and all my music transferred to it on my WIN 11 computer, the Apple music APP does not recognize my iPod model MC694C. I have no ability to manage the music on my iPod. I am aware that Apple music will not allow me to manage music that is controlled by Apple's DRM program unless the device has internet connectivity but most of the music on my computer is purchased or downloaded from DC's that I own. The iTunes APP now only shows podcasts and audio books and I have no way to access the thousands of songs in my music library. Need help.

Windows, Windows 10
