I am trying to give another application the right to access my iTunes library. I know how to do that in iTunes, but as of today all my music in iTunes was transferred to Apple Music app due to an upgrade. I need to be able to set the "Share iTunes Library XML" from the Apple Music app instead but I can't find a checkbox anywhere. Please advise (FYI - I don't subscribe to apple music). Thanks!

as long as you are on Windows try checking a third-party music merging tool that merges your music library from one platform to another, switch to one that can export XML
however, I'm not sure how these third parties handle privacy so make sure to change your account password after when you're done just in case

Actually I can view and access my library in Apple Music. However the interface is terrible and while I can add a wave file song I can’t seem to find a way to compress it like I could on iTunes. I also have no way to sync my IPad or IPhone, which I assume is due to not being subscribed to Apple Music. So my devices are now frozen in time which really sucks.
Did you download Apple Devices? You need that to directly sync your comupter's library to a device. No Apple Music sub needed, that's only if you want to use sync library. Also converting files is not an option in the Windows version. Is in the Mac version so hopefully that gets added soon (along with importing from CD).
