Can't Delete Songs From Playlists Without Deleting Them From My Entire Library on Windows 11

So like everyone else using Windows, I switched from Itunes to the new

Apple Music app yesterday. I'm still trying to learn my way around but

the biggest issue I have now is that if I delete a song from a playlist,

it completely deletes it from my library as well as deleting the song

from any other playlist that it happens to be in. In Itunes I could just

hit the delete key and the song would just be removed from that

playlist, but in the new Apple Music app I get warning that I'm about to

delete the song from my library with no other option. The only way to

edit my playlists now is through my Iphone which is rather cumbersome.

Am I missing something or is that how it's supposed to be?
