iTunes: Your Computer is not authorized: You must authorize this computer from the Account menu....

So I followed the instructions, went to the account tab, checked the authorizations, and a pop-up asked me for my user ID and password. I typed that in, and another pop-up is telling me that I have more than 5 active devices. I said that's not true. I have only have 2, one desktop and one iPad....

It now is telling me to authorize this computer. However, I must first deauthorize one of the other devices.

This is where I am unclear...if the authorized tab is telling me that I only have two devices connected, how is it that the pop-up is telling me I have five? Full transparency: I did have other devices attached to this account over the years. However, I have since deactivated them so they don't appear.

What do know? ...looking for some suggestions, please.

Thank you!
