I found a way around the problem:

Turn on Travel Mode, and then start a recording (seems like it's less picky about lighting conditions then). You can then turn off Travel Mode and the recording will stay on.

Hello bin126!

Try closing the app and reopening it. Does the message still come up?

If so, try force quitting the app by pressing both the top button and Digital Crown for 2 seconds.

If this doesn't work, it could be because it is either too dark or too bright. If it is dark, try turning on some lights or moving to a brighter location. If it is bright location such as a bright, sunny day outside, try moving to a darker location, like some shade or a building.

Otherwise, redo eye and hand setup by quadruple-clicking the top button.

If the message still appears, contact the Official Apple Support.

I hope this helps!
