I want to use my Mac mini but get rid of my monitor and use the vision pro as such is this possible?

I use my AVP with a Mac mini running Sonoma. It works fine but I have to log into the Mac mini first before the AVP can see it to link to it, which means I need a desktop monitor connected to the Mac mini first. I can't take the Mac mini, without a monitor, to a coffee shop along with my AVP. I suppose an OS upgrade to Sonoma might fix this in the future. It's not really a problem with AVP, as such.

I'm an M1 Mac Mini owner and was wondering the same thing. I was disheartened to hear a popular YouTuber exclaim it's only on MacBook pros. I'm happy to report he was wrong.

Funny you mention writing. I'm doing exactly the same thing. My editor of choice, "Scrivener" has a very good MacOS version, but only the limited iPadOS version works on VisionOS. I've been in contact with the publisher to encourage their port of the MacOS version.
