Keynote problem after upgrade to Sonoma

Has anyone else experienced the same issue as me? Since upgrading to Sonoma, the fan on my laptop begins to run when I’m using Keynote. I can compose and edit on it, but as soon as I ‘play’ the presentation, the fan kicks in. I’ve tried letting it run for a while, hoping it would complete any indexing, but it just carries on. My laptop is a MacBook Air, 2019, so not old. Any help would be most appreciated.
