MacBookPro8,1 cannot backup on shared external drive, attached to iMac14,4

I've set up an external drive, attached to iMac14,4 (Big Sur, maximum possible) for Time Machine back up (in Sharing, a possibility "Share as target location for Time Machine" is checked). Zálohování do sdílené složky pomocí Time Machine na Macu - Podpora Apple (CZ)

MacBookPro8,1 (High SIerra, maximum possible) sees the disk, can connect to it, but when I want to use it for Time Machine, it fails, stating:

"Time Machine can't connect to the back up disk.

The operation couldn't be completed. (OSStatus error 13.)".

I've tried to turn off sharing and then turned it back on, according to this tip: OSstatus error 13 - Apple Community but with no improvement.

I've tried this solution with other computers on 10.14.6 and 13.6.4 and it works as expected, but I have no chance to change macOS on the computers, mentioned above, where the back up should be operated.
