iPad Pro M2 12.9 inch cannot connect Bluetooth with Sonoma Mac Studio After 17.2 Update
My iPad used to connect flawlessly with my M2 Mac Studio and act as remote control surface with my DAW. Since the most recent Sonoma and iPad updates, they no longer communicate. It my Mac studio doesn't see the iPad at all, no matter how many times I restart system or turn bluetooth on and off, for them to rediscover each other.
On my iPad, it did see my Mac Studio for a moment, and when I selected it, I got an immediate popup saying that it could not connect with the Mac Studio and that it was "incompatible." Say what?!!
I then tried to re-add the iPad as a shared desktop on my Mac Studio using(which was perfectly functional before the iPad update). I selected my previous established drop menu selection of the iPad Pro, after that my Mac Studio said that the connection timed out. So clearly the iPad is undiscoverable as is my Mac Studio, from the iPad side of things.
I recently did a security update on y Sonoma System and tonight I did the new update on my iPad. Did these updates stop these devices from sharing connectivity???
I certainly hope this can resolved quickly because I spent a ton of money on both these M2 devices in order to add more control surface space and remote connectivity for my pro studio DAW and it's really disrupting my flow.
Any help would be welcomed. BTW, I've done all the things the the support pages tell you to do when Bluetooth devices don't connect or are not discovered. Including telling the device to forget the old connection, restarting and trying to rediscover the device.
