Keynote is not exporting video clips embedded in a slide.

So I've raised this concern and had a call with a specialist about this already, reformatted by drive and re-installed a fresh copy of MacOS. Reinstalled Keynote too just for this, BUT, it did not resolve the issue. Exporting the same Keynote slide using my MacBook Pro is as per normal (the video clip exports normally) but using my iMac's Keynote just exports the first two frames of the video.

Any video clip for that matter is not being exported properly by Keynote in my iMac. I don't understand why. A reformat and a reinstallation of both the MacOS and Keynote doesn't resolve the issue. Is anyone else out there experiencing the same thing?

Sorry but just a follow up, how my me Macbook pro that runs on Sonoma and having Keynote 13.2 installed doesn't experience the same dilemma? It is exporting as per usual, I have resulted to actually working on my laptop to export the clips i need from Keynote and using the iMac for Adobe Premiere.

1 - Make a duplicate of your original Keynote

2 - Right Click on the Duplicate of your Keynote and view the package contents.

3- Open the folder called “Data” and remove your embedded videos contained within it by moving them to another location or folder like your desktop.

4 - Re-encode your videos using “Handbreak.app” with similar format settings but outputting them with “Fast 1080p30” with video encoder set to “MPEG-4”

5 - Open the duplicate keynote file in keynote app. It should say the movies embedded are corrupt.

6 - Replace the media now in the document with your new re-encoded videos.

7 - Now export from keynote again and your new movie will look a lot better.

Exporting from Keynote 13.2 broken and a well known issue, until Apple fix this, the workaround is to use Keynote 13.1 in Ventura or Monterey.
