Hello:)

It could be a problem that your tv is not the latest iOS and tv OS.

If it is updated go to the Apple TV remote on your iPhone and select your Apple TV and select find.

You can also see more about it on Use your iPhone to help locate the Siri Remote (2nd generation or later) - Apple Support

I hope this helps with your question. Have a nice day/night!

If the Siri Remote (2nd generation or later) has been updated to firmware 0x83 (part of tvOS 17) (verify in Settings), and all devices are at least on OS 17, then the Find option can be revealed in the software remote on iPhone, from the drop-down device menu at the top of the screen. It isn’t visible all the time.

If the firmware update didn’t happen, then the charge level may be too low.
