Recently, sending Mac Air from Mac Mail (Ventura 13.5.1) using Gmail account, I am no longer receiving emails I send to myself. I observe that if I send it directly from gmail, the email does reach me, but if I send it from my Mac Mail app it does not. I prefer to stick with Mail and not have to got to my gmail account to send an email to myself. A significant problem from my perspective.

the reply doesn’t answer the question. The linked faq deals with a general problem of mail not working. Mac Mail works fine in general but fails when I try to send an email to myself. This has always worked fine in the past but something on the Mac side is preventing this
