What are the colored bars on each day of the forecast supposed to represent and why are the all different lengths?

The length visually represents the difference between the high and low temperature. A day that has a low of 52Âș and a high of 82Âș (30 degree difference) will have a longer bar than a day with a low of 50Âș and a high of 60Âș (10 degree difference).

Blue represents colder and red hotter with other shades between.
