Can't drag the cursor up in text messages on new iphone 15 Pro iOS 17

I can’t either and I’m on IOS 17.11 and I’ve restarted my iPhone. Still can’t access the top of a long text message to edit. Very frustrating!!!

I just upgraded to iOS 17.1.2. Cursor problem is not fixed. It is exactly the same. 🤨

Since update, phone is worse!

can’t drag cursor up to edit anything. Can’t scroll back to read or see previous text msgs above either. Can only view the one being typed. Fix this!

What a complete and total joke, that accompany like Apple can’t manage texting, well enough for us to be able to use it the way we want to and write long texts and edit them.

Please tell me how to move my cursor to the top of a long text message for edits. Since the update, I cannot do this. This is exceptionally difficult on me.

I was hoping that would work for me, but it didn’t. I am going to really be upset if this isn’t fixed soon because I sometimes write super long text messages. Maybe I should just stop doing that. 😞

I was hoping the latest update would fix this, but it didn’t. It’s beyond infuriating! I have an iPhone 11. I thought I might just need to get a newer phone, but I guess that wouldn’t help.

Did not fix the problem on iPhone 14 Pro Max.

I am having trouble with editing a long text also. I cannot get to the beginning.

I can’t select all with three taps either.

just so frustrated with this.
