Voice Message on iMessage won't send and kept crashing iMessage
Overall iOS17 has been pretty solid but yesterday I encountered an issues where I was trying to send a voice message on iMessage and my phone wouldn't send the message. The blue progress bar would get close to the end and just stop and iMessage would completely freeze and wouldn't allow me to leave the conversation, eventually crashing and sending me back to my homescreen. Even after closing the app completely from the multi-task window multiple times it still wouldn't work. I was also unable to power off the phone with the volume up/power button for some reason and had to force restart the phone numerous times, each time encountering the same set of issues. After about 10 resets the phone finally sent it and stopped freezing.
