after migration to new mac book photos darkened

I migrated my old mac to new and photos are much darker as well as web pages. Whats the issue?

Changes made to a photo in Markup sometimes being lost when I export it on Mac I made changes to a photo with Markup, then clicked done and then exported the file with File > Export > 'Export 1 photo', not 'Export Unmodified Original for 1 Photo.' I then went into Finder, saw the file as a JPG, and double-clicked it. It opened the photo and showed it without the changes I'd made in Markup. Puzzled, I restarted my computer, came in and did the same thing. This time I saw the export created a JPEG rather than JPG. I'm not why it would be different these two times, but this time the photo contained the changes from Markup. Any idea what could have happened?

Missing pictures in Photos Hi: Major disaster here. My Mac started crashing all the time so I restored it from backup. Restoration went fine except some pictures won't load after completing the restore. All of the recent pictures are just fine, only some of the more recent ones show up, and with rare exceptions, none of the old ones appear. My Library looks like this: Any ideas what would cause this, and, more importantly, how to fix it? Many thanks!!! Mac Studio 2022 (M1) running OS 13.3.1 and Photos Version 8.0 (541.0.120)

Make sure the color profile used on the new Mac matches that used on the old one.

The sliders in display were invisible and set to max unknown to me. Called support they actual stumble on this while chatting. This correct setting of the slider corrected all screen and color issues.
