Nothing is odd in my response I assure you. Many users/account holders use other email addresses as their primary email address and forget they even have an iCloud email.

Neither Goldman Sachs or Apple have thrown a switch and sent all your statements to USPS. It’s usually a glitch in the software and often associated with updates. But updates may contain security updates.

Your path forward is to be proactive with Goldman Sachs Bank. Please call number listed below and then request a supervisor and escalate the issue so that it can be resolved to your satisfaction.

The Apple ID email address I am using has not changed. Ever. I've changed nothing. I've looked everywhere on the Applecard site and find absolutely no option to switch my account back to electronic statements. It's only since 2023 that the printed statements started coming. I even called and they said they will escalate the case, but the statements keep coming in snail mail. I already know how to download the stmts and have downloaded for years and now, either Apple or Marcus (who took over from Barclaycard years back) is making the decision to send paper stmts on their own. Thanks for your response, Jeff, but it's not me - it's either Apple or Marcus killing the trees. I've always tried to be a good citizen with electronic stmts only. How odd that you are asking whether I'm checking my email. Standard responses assuming that I have done something so simple as not checking my email are not applicable in this case. Email is not the issue. Apple's recent decision to begin sending a paper statement is the issue. This is very strange.

Hey, Jeff, you should know that I really do appreciate that you responded at all, twice even. But you should also know that a response appearing to me to come from a prepared script about emails (is the inbox full? When was the last time you checked?) is not helpful. But hey, perhaps there are lots of uninformed people out there that you have tried to help that actually provide their email to their credit card processor and then never read their emails. I am saying that is not my approach and as I said before, it's not an email issue. I can log on to my emails fine, which is how I obtain and download my statements now and during the past several years since I've had this credit card. So, yes, some type of "switch" has been flipped to cause me to start receiving my statements in the mail. If you prefer to call it a glitch, that works for me. I will continue to call to resolve the issue. I am appreciative of your time. I hope you can see my points as well. Regardless, I have come up with what I believe could be the cause for the statement mailing debacle (and it's not email) and I will discuss it with the bank that holds my credit card. It was always my plan to continue contacting the bank, but sometimes, one can find helpful information on the wonderful web. Have a great rest of your weekend and thanks much for trying to assist.
